Prince Harry deletes his facebook profile
I guess the chances are that if you’re reading this, you probably were not listed on the 400 or so friend’s list of Spike Wells. If you were, do leave a comment
So, after the news broke of naked pics of Prince Harry in Vegas, naturally royal advisors suggested the facebook profile belonging to the prince, be removed for security risks and such like.
The face that there was even an active page, actually with Prince Harry posting and not some royalist social media manager, came as quite a surprise. Perhaps Harry will start pinning next?
Have you ever had a reason to take down your profile page on a social network?

Local is good for business
Back in the good old days, you bought meat from the local butcher, your iceberg lettuce from the grocer, aunty Mildred baked fresh bread at the local bakery and you only used the washing powder your mother recommended, afterall she always knew best.
So, what changed? Well, companies became large corporations and the world became smaller. More people worked for the large companies and small local businesses found it difficult to survive in the high street, next to the large chains.
Now what? Social Media came along…
Social networks now allow for billions of global relationships to be nurtured, through sharing. No more is it about what the big corporates are telling us to buy or what is good for us. On social networks we get to tell eachother, share experiences, review products.
I don’t know about all of you, but what I do know, is that I much prefer to listen to the people I know about what is good out there from their shared experience, that what some billboard is enticing me with.
Google+ Local makes it easy to share your opinions and photos as expressively as you can in real life. Now we’re talking.
