5 Quick points to a successful facebook page
Facebook changed to the new timeline features on your fan pages already. All profile pages will be effective soon. So, avoid playing catch up.
Let’s have a quick look at these points, to help your fan page succeed.
Set the cover and profile photos.
Your profile photo should be no smaller than 180 pxls by 180 pxls.
The large band of a cover photo should be no smaller than 850 pxls wide and 315 pxls high.
Make sure these express the lifestyle of your brand. This is NOT advertising real estate.
Add milestones
Use this space to share when your company was founded, employees birthdays or a product launch.
Post Daily
Yes, people still ask whether they should post once a week or once a month. *gasp* Imagine not communicating with any customers for an entire day in your business. Did you take the day off? Are you on an exotic holiday? Maybe down with the flu? Even if you were, would you put the ‘closed’ sign on the door?
Manage your account with your admin panel
Various new features, allow you to see your notifications, likes, facebook insights. Respond to new fans and messages promptly.
Highlight and pin stories
To pin a story to the page by clicking on the pencil icon and Pin to the top. This will ensure that, your post stays at the top of your page, for a period of seven days.
To highlight a story, click on the star. This will make your post appear across the width of the page. Great to use with images.
